Today in class, we will:

1. talk about Books 21 and 22 of the Odyssey.
2. continue our discussion of verbs in preparation for your quiz on Monday (we will also have the third Odyssey vocab list on that quiz).
3. read a poem by Margaret Atwood about the sirens and compose some of our own!
4. get started on reading the last two books of the Odyssey (13 – Books 23 and 24) and answering these questions (Books 23 and 24 Reading Guide) — this will be due on Monday!

Remember that if you don’t want your summer reading book anymore, you can turn it in for candy and I will turn it in to a student next year who needs one!
