After our discussion of the novel, we started work on an essay about altruism (for a major grade; altruism-essay-prompt; altruism-essay-rubric; revenge-essay-counterargument-handout).

In terms of the schedule, I am going to slightly amend what I told 1st and 6th period:

-Tomorrow (Wednesday) we will quickly talk about Dracula, quickly talk about our next grammar objective, and then students will have the rest of class to write.

-On Thursday, we will quickly talk about Dracula and then students will have the rest of class to write.

-The essay will be due at the beginning of class on Friday.

Homework for tonight is to read Chapter 13 (dracula-reading-guide-chapter-13).
