We started today with a discussion of CMC Reading Guide 2. CMC Reading Guide 3 is your homework (cmc-reading-guide-3) and is due on Monday. Also on Monday, you will take your CMC Vocab 1 and prepositional phrases quiz. Please remember what I told you – that these words are a little harder, and if you were able to get by without studying in the past, you might want to really consider if you are prepared.

With the remainder of time today, students read the famous Edgar Allen Poe short story, “The Cask of Amontillado,” and students answered some multiple choice questions (the-cask-of-amontillado-reading-quiz and the-cask-of-amontillado-story).
